Data deletion

Almost all your Pilovio data is on your phone. You can erase it yourself, at any time, without contacting us.

1. On your phone

  1. Open Android Settings, then Apps.
  2. Choose Pilovio, then Storage.
  3. Tap Clear data (or “Clear storage”).

Everything the app keeps on the phone is then erased: history, GPS trace, locations, logs, trusted contacts, settings. Uninstalling the app also erases everything.

Without doing anything, only the history of offers and rides is erased automatically, after 30 days.

2. What the publisher may keep

  • For testers who have agreed: the daily numeric summaries (no first name, address, phone number or location), linked to the tester code, kept with no time limit so far.
  • The technical traces of the server's routing engine (requested coordinates), in its logs.
  • The messages you send us by e-mail or WhatsApp.

3. Asking for deletion

Write to contact@pilovio.com with the subject “Delete my Pilovio data”. As there is no account, give your tester code if you have one.

There is currently no automatic deletion on the server side. Requests are handled manually by the publisher.

Each request to erase or rectify data is handled within 10 clear days, as provided by article 8 of law 09-08.

We never ask for your password or your ride-hailing app login codes.
