Frequently asked questions

Does Pilovio accept rides for me?

No. Pilovio shows a colour, a net amount and, in assisted mode, a frame around the button to look at. You always tap “Accept” or “Ignore” yourself in the ride-hailing app.

Why does Pilovio ask for the accessibility service?

Android's accessibility service lets Pilovio read the text of the offers shown by inDrive, Bolt and Yango (price, distances, duration) to work out the net. Pilovio does not use it to tap anything. Details are in the privacy policy.

What is the “real net”?

It is the ride price, minus the platform commission, minus the cost of the pickup and ride kilometres, worked out with your car's cost per kilometre (fuel, rental, insurance… depending on your settings).

Will I earn more?

Pilovio promises no earnings. It gives you a more complete calculation to decide; the result depends on your choices, your settings and the offers you receive.

Which apps does Pilovio work with?

inDrive, Bolt and Yango, including motorcycles. DiDi and Uber: soon. Pilovio is not affiliated with these apps. You accept or decline.

What happens to riders' names and addresses?

The first name is never sent. On inDrive and Bolt offers, it is erased as soon as the screen is read (a few exceptions are described in the privacy policy). Addresses are used for the calculation: they stay in the phone's history and may be sent, without any name, to our server and to Google to work out distances. Details are in the privacy policy.

How do I delete my data?

Everything is explained on the Data deletion page.

How much is the subscription?

Prices have not been set yet. See the Pricing page.

Which phone do I need?

An Android phone, version 9 or later, with inDrive, Bolt or Yango installed. The app will be distributed on Google Play.

Can I use Pilovio while driving?

Voice announcements are designed so that you do not have to look at the phone. Always follow the highway code: do not handle your phone while driving.
